Come and say hi to me at my table at the free screening of award-winning film Grown in Detroit on Thursday 27 September.

This event hosted by the Canberra Environment Centre and the ANU Environment Collective and is the Australian premiere screening of this multi-award winning film.

Grown in Detroit  focuses on the urban gardening efforts managed by a public school of 300, mainly African-American, pregnant and parenting teenagers.

The film will be followed by displays, discussions and drinks with a range of community groups and people -- including ME -- interested in environmental sustainability and food security.

Doors open at 7.00pm, with the film starting at 7.30pm. Attendance is free, with drinks by donation. Please RSVP by Tuesday 25 September here.

    This is Tim

Who am I? Quite simply, I love dirt. It provides everything we need, from breathing and eating, to shelter and clothing. And fun! (Hey, what kid doesn't like playing in mud?)

Seriously, I know the power of dirt to bring life, to your garden and you, so you get the most out of both.

So are you willing to get growing? Let's talk.
